This is the Main Oil Trough (Plastic) for Ford 1987-On F-150 Full Size Truck 2x2 4x4 5 speed M5R2 (M5OD) transmission You can identify this transmission by the tags on side marked "E87TA, E97TA or FOTA". This transmission has an aluminum case and an aluminum top cover. Note: This transmission is called the M5R2 or M5OD or Mazda Type. This oil trough is made of plastic and fails and needs to be replaced when the front of the transmission runs low on lube and burns up.
