Ford M5OD/M5R2 Transmission Cluster and Input Gear Set This is an input shaft & cluster gear set for the Ford F-150 full size 4x2 or 4x4 5 speed manual transmission used during 1995-ON. This input has an 11 3/8" overall length 1995-ON; The Cluster is has 37-31-24-15 tooth count. You can identify this transmission by tags on the side that read: "E87TA, E97TA, FOTA". This transmission has an aluminum case and an aluminum top cover. Note this transmission is called the M5R2 or M5OD or Mazda Type. These are quality gear sets we have been selling to transmission repair shops for years! Be sure to check your input and cluster gear for wear. These gears fail quite often and when not replaced during an overhaul will cause noise.
