Alto Red Eagle Overdrive Powerpack. This is a kit with super durable Red Eagle clutches for the overdrive section for 99-on E4OD, 4R100 The Problem: Premature failure of the overdrive clutch due to high torque applications, when subjected to a hi-performance of heavy duty environments. The overdrive clutch can fail under these conditions, including hot-spotting the steel plates, along with slide-bump shifts. The Solution: Alto Products Corp. has designed a capacity kit for the E4OD/4R100 transmissions. They have added one more friction and steel element to increase the capacity of the overdrive clutch, along with Red Eagle friction lining, which will dramatically increase the amount of torque the overdrive clutch can handle Technical Advise: Always pre-soak all friction elements in recommended ATF for at least 30 minutes before installation.
