This Transfer Case is Aluminum and Chain Driven Only. We sell these part to transmission shops everyday, as these units are famous for the pump beating against the factory case and wearing a hole in it; which drains your oil and blows up your transfer case. We upgrade your case from the factory OEM magnesium case that fails to a tougher aluminum design with reinforced edges where the pump rides, we also provide you with the case saver plate that prevents that pump from becoming an issue. Lastly you get the high quality Borgwarner Morse Chain; There is no Substitute Morse is what you want in your transfer case. Note: If you prefer the Magnesium case OEM design I can swap the aluminum one out no problem. Some people prefer Magnesium but the majority of our Transmission shops only want the Aluminum design.
