BK242B - NP242 Transfer Case Rebuild Kit 1995-On

This is a transmission rebuild kit that fits the Dodge and Jeep NP242 Transfer Case from 1995-On with the 16mm wide input bearing This transmission has aluminum cases and is chain driven. This transfer case will have a round tag on the rear case half and will say 242. It is very important to measure your input bearing. The Dodge transfer case used a 16mm wide input bearing AND a 24mm wide input bearing for the vehicles and years listed below. The Jeep NP242 used a 24mm wide input bearing through 1994 so if your vehicle has a production date of 1994 or 1995, you will want to measure your input bearing. This kit is for the NP242 with the 16mm wide input bearing and if your input bearing is 24mm wide, you will need my other kit.
