GM Getrag 290 5 speed Transmission Rebuild Kit 2nd Design 1988-1990 BK235AWS MG5, HM290 Transmission Rebuild Kit This complete kit includes narrow front and rear main shaft bearings, input pocket bearings, a front counter plug, a complete small parts kit which includes snap rings, washers etc., seals and high quality synchro rings. You can identify this transmission by the aluminum rear loaded case. This kit is for the "2nd Design" Getrag 290 transmission. The transmission uses a wide (1.3") Input and Output Bearings and Countershaft Bearings that are .090" Inside Diameter.
