This is a transmission bearing rebuild kit for the Jeep rear wheel drive or four wheel drive AX4 4 speed and AX5 5 speed manual transmission for years 1984-87 This rebuild kit will work for the 4 speed AX4 and the 5 speed AX5 transmissions. This transmission uses a nut on the end of the counter shaft and a 20mm wide input bearing (B32-14UR or 32BC08S1N). It is very important that you measure your input bearing before purchasing this kit! This transmission was used in the following Jeep applications: CJ2A, CJ3A, CJ5, CJ6, CJ7, CJ8, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, Comanche, Jeepster, Scrambler, Wagoneer & Wranger 4 & 5 Speed 4 Cylinder 2.1L 1984-87 4 & 5 Speed 4 Cylinder 2.5L 1984-87 This kit comes with all the main bearings, seals, gaskets, and high quality synchro rings.
