Ford E4OD 4R100 1995-2005
In Ford 4R100 and E4OD units, leakage between center support and hub can cause forward clutch failure and/or poor lube oil flow. This leakage can be caused by a number of problems, including an insufficient number and staggered spacing of mounting screws, surface finish flaws and flatness defects. Install Sonnax® center support gasket 36743G to alleviate these problems. Center support gasket has a printed silicone bead to fill in any gaps between the center support and hub.
Symptoms:
Forward clutch failureLow lube oil flow
Cause:
Leakage between center support and hub from insufficient number and staggered spacing of mounting screws, surface finish flaws and flateness defects.
Correction:
