Ford E4OD/4R100 Transmission MLPS Manual Lever Position Switch 1997-On Also known as (TRS) Transmission Range Sensor & (NSS) Neutral Safety Switch (DTR) (Fits both 11 Pin & 12 Pin Applications) The 11 Pin replaces the 12 Pin Model Mounts externally on top of the transmission. This switch sends information to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) that in turn sends control signals to the transmission. If the engine computer gets bad info than it's extremely likely it's going to send bad control info to the transmission.
