Dodge A518 (46RE, 46RH), A618 (47RE, 47RH) High Performance ALTO Red Eagle Friction Clutches Deluxe Level 2 Rebuild Kit Diesel 1994-1997 This Rebuild kit includes all of the High Performance Red Alto Friction Plates, Kolene Steel Plates, Sealing Rings, Metal Clad Seals, Gaskets, O-rings, rubber Piston Seals, Kevlar Band, dacron filter, pump bushing and ext. housing bushing Plus- TCS 4.2 Band Ratio Lever- The 4.2 ratio band lever provides greater mechanical clamping force than the O.E.M. 3.8 ratio lever ie: Placing 1 pound of force on the tip of the apply lever produces 4.2 pounds of force on the band. CNC machined from 4140 HTSR for added strength. Torrington Bearing kit - (includes; Roller Clutch output bearing, overdrive clutch piston hub bearing, and backing plate planet bearing) The Bearing kit is a critical part of a thorough rebuild because they are movable parts that take a lot of wear and abuse. All bearings have a reasonable service life of 100,000 to 200,000 miles. Always replace high mileage bearings. Front band Apply Servo (includes the heavy duty band strut)-Super Servo provides the following improvements: 11% more holding power, firmer 1-2 shift, more positive 2-3 shift and is perfect for Heavy-Duty and Performance Applications! Gas Low & Reverse Super Servo- Super Servo will provide a newly designed piston that will not flip or break in the bore. This piston is constructed of 6061-T6 billet aluminum! An upgraded steel servo pin is also included. NOTE: Low/Reverse Super Servo is different from Gas to Diesel. This kit comes with the Diesel Servo if you have a Gas Please see our other listing. Sonnax Accumulator Piston Kit- OE plastic accumulators in listed Chrysler units are prone to breaking and have poor sealing qualities, and metal rings offered with aftermarket accumulators also have sealing issues. The improved design and material of Sonnax accumulator piston kit 22841-04K eliminates cross-leaks between circuits. Overdrive direct front waved Snap Ring- This waved overdrive snap ring is a common failure in these Dodges and should be replaced on every Dodge rebuild. This Transmission Kit is one we sell everyday to Transmission Shops, it fits the A518 (46RE, 46RH) A618 (47RE, 47RH) 1994-2002 These plates are Red Eagle high performance clutch plates. These clutches are put through a process where the friction paper is saturated in a phenolic resin, cured, and then saturated a second time in a silicate. The silicate imparts high heat resistance.
