These are better than stock or "High Energy" friction and steel packages. This pack also comes with Alto PowerPacks for the direct, Fwd, Intermediate, and O.D drum. The Power Packs has additional clutches to increase friction plate capacity. This allows for an increased torque load with reduced heat generation. To confirm that this is the correct kit for your E4OD/4R100, please count the teeth of your frictions based on the drum they are from. Overdrive Drum Frictions: 32 Teeth Intermediate Drum Frictions: 50 Teeth or 60 Teeth (we include the extra friction plates in our kits) We ask you to confirm by tooth counts because it seems like Ford was not reliant on what they put in based on years.
